Cancer research may have found a new AI ally.

• Researchers developed an AI model called CancerGPT that can predict how drug combinations affect rare human cancer tissues, even with limited data.

• CancerGPT uses large language models to extract knowledge from texts and apply it to make biological inferences.

• In experiments with 7 rare cancer tissues, CancerGPT achieved significant prediction accuracy with minimal or no samples.
