Good morning. This is Deep Work Daily, the short daily newsletter that helps you get smarter about AI in just 1 minute and 31 seconds.

AI is growing faster than the brown part of an avocado after it’s sat out for a minute too long.

So here’s a recap of the latest AI news, tools, and tips so you can stay ahead of the curve & not get taken over by robots anytime soon.

🚨 LATEST AI NEWS

Google released their ChatGPT competitor, Bard (apparently, this is a Shakespeare reference?). It’s open to a small group of early testers now and will launch to everyone in a few weeks. The chatbot war is officially on.

Microsoft will hold a mystery event today to share progress on some projects. I think it’s safe to say the most used letters will be “A” and “I.”

Remember Quora? They also launched a chatbot of their own, called Poe (what’s with these poet references?). It’s available on iPhone as a separate app and uses tech from OpenAI and Anthropic. Which company is will name their chatbot Seuss?

AI companies’ stocks jump big from the AI craze. Companies like C3.ai, BigBear.ai, and SoundHound AI saw their stocks rise from 11% to 40% as everyone and their grandparents hopped on the AI train. I wonder if Allen Iverson’s benefiting from this too.
