LATEST AI NEWS
To nobody’s surprise, Microsoft showed off their AI-powered search engine in their “mystery” event yesterday.
They’re adding a chat extension that can come in handy for things like trip planning and shopping.
Satya says the new Bing will be more powerful than ChatGPT. Definitely a bold claim, but I’d say the same thing if I invested over $10 billion into the company powering my product.

Yesterday was Microsoft’s AI event. Today is Google’s AI event.
Google is sharing their own AI updates in their event today from Paris. We’re likely going to hear more about their new AI chatbot Bard and how they plan to upgrade their search engine with it.
You can tune in live at 8:30 am EST here.
We’re watching a ping pong match between Microsoft and Google this year.
Who are you putting your money on?

Don’t forget about Apple in the list of big tech companies hosting an AI event.
Apple’s pretty private about their events so I don’t have much detail.
But they’ve been adding a lot of AI features to their products lately, so they’ll likely share plans on embedding AI into more products and services this year.
And you’ll probably hear a lot of this:

People have been experimenting with all types of prompts in ChatGPT since it came out in December.
A group of Reddit users found a way to create an alter-ego ChatGPT that breaks its own rules on what it can or can’t say.
They call this version of ChatGPT DAN (Do Anything Now).
Here’s some examples of what DAN can do:
Write factually inaccurate statements
Describe how to make crack cocaine
List positive traits about Hitler
Tell violent stories
This was all I could picture knowing the potential dangers of AI falling into the wrong hands:

💁🏻♂️ How to get ChatGPT to write content using your style and tone:
A simple little ChatGPT trick:
Start by feeding it something you've written and ask it to analyze using NLP for tone, voice, and style.
Then, ask it to write something very specific using that analysis as instructions.
Pretty interesting results.

MIND-BOGGLING USE CASE
This is going to save creators a ton of time and energy in their content creation.
Can you tell which voice is real and generated by AI? 🤯
It’s getting scary good.
Content from your favorite creators will soon be entirely AI – generated via text – and you won’t even know.
All it takes is a few hours of audio, and plenty of high resolution images and it’s nearly indistinguishable.
