Here’s the latest news, tools and “AI can do that?!” finds of the day.

LATEST AI NEWS
🛍️ Shopify jumps on the AI bandwagon with its first AI tool.
Shopify launched Shopify Magic, an AI tool that generates product descriptions for you.
All you have to do is enter a couple of keywords about your product, and the tool automagically writes a description that can help drive traffic and increase conversions.
I don’t have an e-commerce store myself, but if I did, I’d feel something like this:

💘 OkCupid tests ChatGPT to help users get better matches.
The popular dating app uses ChatGPT to generate questions to match their users.
They asked ChatGPT to find the most popular questions people asked when dating and added them into the app to increase the quality of matches.
Some of the questions include “Are you more of an introvert or extrovert?”, “Are you a morning or night person?” and “What do you value most in a partner?”
My take? These sound like the most basic questions, and it’s hard to believe they weren’t already in the app before ChatGPT came around.
It smells like OkCupid’s just trying to get their 15 seconds of fame with a gimmicky AI angle…
🌎 Yet another web browser plans to add ChatGPT
Ever heard of Opera? No, not the Phantom, the internet browser.
It’s okay. I don’t blame you. Holding a whopping 2.4% of the browser market share, Opera announced it plans to integrate ChatGPT into its products.
This comes after Microsoft and Google announced similar news of adding AI into their browsers, so it’s no surprise Opera followed suit.
